Abstract
The object of the present invention is to search for and to provide a novel acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. An acetylcholinesterase inhibitor comprising wood creosote as the active ingredient is provided.
Claims6
A method for suppressing progression of a disease or a condition related to a decline in acetylcholine activity in a subject in need thereof, comprising:
- applying an effective amount of wood creosote to said subject, thereby suppressing progression of said disease or said condition in said subject;
- wherein said disease or said condition is myasthenia gravis.
