Real time streaming in collaborative workspace environment

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium impressed with computer program instructions to provide live streamed content in a collaboration session, the instructions, when executed on a processor, implement operations, of a server device, comprising:

• receiving, by the server device, first data from a first client device, the first data comprising a source of the live streamed content and a key associated with the live streamed content to access the live streamed content in a collaboration workspace, wherein the key is unique to the live streamed content and a new key is generated for subsequent live streamed content;
• establishing, at the server device, a connection to the source of the live streamed content using the key associated with the live streamed content to access the live streamed content;
• receiving, by the server device, the live streamed content from the source of the live streamed content;
• sending, by the server device, the live streamed content to the first client device for display in the collaboration workspace;
• receiving, by the server device, second data from the first client device, including at least a second user's identifier using a second client device, for sharing the collaboration workspace including the live streamed content;
• receiving, by the server device, third data from the second client device, including at least the key, and authorizing display of the live streamed content in the collaboration workspace at the second client device;
• and
• sending, by the server device, collaboration data including the live streamed content to the second client device, and causing display of the live streamed content in the collaboration workspace at the second client device.

A system including one or more processors coupled to memory, the memory loaded with computer instructions to provide live streamed content in a collaboration session, the instructions, when executed on the processors, implement, at a server device, operations comprising:

• receiving, by the server device, first data from a first client device, the first data comprising a source of the live streamed content and a key associated with the live streamed content to access the live streamed content in a collaboration workspace, wherein the key is unique to the live streamed content and a new key is generated for subsequent live streamed content;
• establishing, at the server device, a connection to the source of the live streamed content using the key associated with the live streamed content to access the live streamed content;
• receiving, by the server device, the live streamed content from the source of the live streamed content;
• sending, by the server device, the live streamed content to the first client device for display in the collaboration workspace;
• receiving, by the server device, second data from the first client device, including at least a second user's identifier using a second client device, for sharing the collaboration workspace including the live streamed content;
• receiving, by the server device, third data from the second client device, including at least the key, and authorizing display of the live streamed content in the collaboration workspace at the second client device;
• and
• sending, by the server device, collaboration data including the live streamed content to the second client device, and causing display of the live streamed content in the collaboration workspace at the second client device.
