A method comprising:

• displaying a scanned image on a display;
• in response to receiving a user operation on an area in the displayed scanned image, add, to the scanned image, a character string for the area;
• and
• in response to receiving, in a state where the character string is added to the scanned image, another user operation on another area in the displayed scanned image, add, to the scanned image, another character string for said another area,
• wherein based on character strings included in areas which, in another scanned image, correspond to the area and said another area, a file name of a file including said another scanned image is set.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to:

• display a scanned image on a display;
• in response to receiving a user operation on an areas in the displayed scanned image, add, to the scanned image, a character string for the area;
• and
• in response to receiving, in a state where the character string is added to the scanned image, another user operation on another area in the displayed scanned image, add, to the scanned image, another character string for said another area,
• wherein based on character strings included in areas which, in another scanned image, correspond to the area and said another area, a file name of a file including said another scanned image is set.
