Systems and methods for a distributed data platform

One or more storage devices collectively storing a centralized management function data structure of a telecommunications network for access and processing by a program executed by at least one computer processor that, when accessed and processed by at least one computer processor, functionally enables the at least one computer processor to:

• manage access to data by one or more network infrastructure components used to implement the telecommunications network, wherein each network infrastructure component is configured to provide access to the telecommunications network to user equipment;
• receive a request for data from a first network infrastructure component of the one or more network infrastructure components;
• determine whether the first network infrastructure component has sufficient security permissions to access the requested data based on the first network infrastructure component and the requested data;
• and
• based on a determination that the first network infrastructure component has sufficient security permissions to access the requested data:
• identify at least one network infrastructure component other than the first network infrastructure component that stores the portion of the data based on the centralized management function and the received request for data;
• and
• cause the at least one network infrastructure component to transmit an indication of the requested data to the first network infrastructure component;
• wherein the centralized management function data structure comprises:
• information specifying the one or more network infrastructure components;
• and
• information specifying one or more instances of data stored by the one or more network infrastructure components.

A method comprising:

• identifying a centralized management function of a telecommunications network, the centralized management function being configured to manage access to data by one or more network infrastructure components used to implement the telecommunications network, wherein each network infrastructure component is configured to provide access to the telecommunications network to user equipment;
• receiving a request for data from a first network infrastructure component of the one or more network infrastructure components;
• determining whether the first network infrastructure component has sufficient security permissions to access the requested data based on the received request for data and the first network infrastructure component;
• and
• based on a determination that the first network infrastructure component has sufficient security permissions to access the requested data:
• identifying at least one network infrastructure component other than the first network infrastructure component that stores the portion of the data based on the centralized management function and the received request for data;
• and
• causing the at least one network infrastructure component to transmit an indication of the requested data to the first network infrastructure component.
