Abstract
The invention relates to a lock striker (1, 25) for a motor vehicle door lock, having a lock striker plate (2, 30) and a lock striker bracket (3) which is secured to the lock striker plate. The lock striker bracket (3) is formed with a locking pin (4), a central piece (6), and a connecting region (7, 24), wherein the lock striker bracket (3) is designed in at least two parts, and the central piece (6) and the connecting region (7, 24) are made of a sheet metal strip (5, 23).
Claims14
A lock striker for a motor vehicle door lock comprising:
- a lock striker plate and a lock striker bracket,
- wherein the lock striker bracket is secured to the lock striker plate,
- wherein the lock striker bracket comprises a locking pin, a central piece and a connecting region,
- wherein the lock striker bracket is designed in at least two parts,
- wherein the central piece and the connecting region are made of a sheet metal strip,
- wherein the lock striker plate includes at least one recess,
- wherein the sheet metal strip includes at least one extension, wherein a respective one of the least one extension is inserted into the recess of the lock striker plate, and
- wherein a width of the at least one extension is smaller than a width of the connecting region.
