Abstract
A reglet may include a first base extending in a first plane. A reglet may include a first backbone integrally formed with and extending from the first base in a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the first plane. A reglet may include a first mud flange integrally formed with and extending from the first backbone in a third plane that is substantially perpendicular to the second plane and substantially parallel to and spaced apart from the first plane. A reglet may include a second side forming an angle of between 0 and 180 degrees with the first side of the reglet, wherein the first side and the second side of the reglet are integrally formed to meet at a corner.
Claims14
A reglet for forming an inset baseboard system at a corner, the reglet comprising:
- a first side comprising:
- a first base extending in a first plane;
- a first backbone integrally formed with and extending from the first base in a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the first plane such that the first base extends from a first end of the first backbone in a first direction;
- and
- a first mud flange integrally formed with and extending from the first backbone in a third plane that is substantially perpendicular to the second plane and substantially parallel to and spaced apart from the first plane, such that the first mud flange extends from a second end of the first backbone in a second direction that is opposite from the first direction,
- wherein a back surface of the first mud flange and a first surface of the first backbone together define a first drywall cavity configured to receive a drywall panel, and
- wherein a front surface of the first base and a second surface of the first backbone opposite of the first surface of the first backbone together define a first baseboard cavity configured to receive a baseboard section;
- and
- a second side forming an angle of between 0 and 180 degrees with the first side of the reglet, wherein the first side and the second side of the reglet are integrally formed to meet at a corner.
