Devices and related methods for separating and compacting trash

A removable, household receptacle configured to hold, separate, compact and dispose of household trash comprising:

• fixed, non-movable sidewalls to at least hold and separate the household trash;
• a rear, fixed non-movable wall to at least hold the household trash;
• one or more movable dividers to at least hold, separate and compact the household trash;
• a removable top cover configured to cover one or more internal, separate cavities to hold the household trash and compact the household trash, and to allow disposal of the household trash, and
• a compaction mechanism comprising at least the one or more movable dividers and a rotatable handle for moving the one or more movable dividers to compact the trash, wherein rotation of the rotatable handle is configured to move the one or more movable dividers from one end of the receptable to an opposite end.
