Head protection device with holding unit and protection unit

A protection device comprising:

• a head-fastening unit for fastening to a user's head,
• at least one protection unit,
• a helmet shell, and
• a holding unit that at the same time connects the at least one protection unit and the helmet shell to the headfastening unit;
• wherein the holding unit directly contacts the at least one protection unit, the helmet shell and the head-fastening unit, and is directly connected to the head-fastening unit, and comprises a first receiving element and a second receiving element, wherein for a connection of the protection unit to the head-fastening unit, the first receiving element is engaged with a first receiving opening of the protection unit and the second receiving element is engaged with a second receiving opening of the protection unit that is arranged opposite the first receiving opening, wherein for a connection to the head-fastening unit, the helmet shell has two receiving recesses, wherein for a connection of the helmet shell to the headfastening unit via the holding unit, the first receiving element engages into the first receiving recess and the second receiving element correspondingly engages into the second receiving recess.
