Abstract
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate; a downstream section extending from a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article; and an upstream section extending from an upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to an upstream end of the aerosol-generating article, a ratio of a resistance-to-draw of the upstream section to a resistance-to-draw of the downstream section being more than 1, and the resistance-to-draw of the upstream section being no more than 150 mm H2O. An aerosol-generating system including an aerosol-generating device including a heater, and an aerosol-generating article, is also provided.
Claims17
An aerosol-generating article, comprising:
- an aerosol-generating substrate;
- a downstream section extending from a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article;
- and
- an upstream section extending from an upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to an upstream end of the aerosol-generating article,
- wherein a ratio of a resistance-to-draw of the upstream section to a resistance-to-draw of the downstream section is more than 1, and
- wherein the resistance-to-draw of the upstream section is no more than 150 mm H2O.
An aerosol-generating article, comprising:
- an aerosol-generating substrate;
- a downstream section extending from a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article;
- and
- an upstream section extending from an upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to an upstream end of the aerosol-generating article,
- wherein the upstream section comprises a plug made of a filter material,
- wherein the plug made of a filter material abuts the upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate,
- wherein a ratio of a resistance-to-draw of the upstream section to a resistance-to-draw of the downstream section is more than 1, and
- wherein the resistance-to-draw of the upstream section is no more than 150 mm H2O.
An aerosol-generating article, comprising:
- an aerosol-generating substrate;
- a downstream section extending from a downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article;
- and
- an upstream section extending from an upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to an upstream end of the aerosol-generating article,
- wherein the upstream section comprises a plug comprising cellulose acetate,
- wherein the plug comprising cellulose acetate abuts the upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate,
- wherein a ratio of a resistance-to-draw of the upstream section to a resistance-to-draw of the downstream section is more than 1, and
- wherein the resistance-to-draw of the upstream section is no more than 150 mm H2O.
