Vehicle systems and methods

A vehicle system comprising:

• a vehicle including:
• a chassis;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• a prime mover configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle;
• a first pump;
• and
• a sensor;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to:
• receive, from the sensor, pressure data indicating a pressure of a fluid supplied by the first pump;
• determine, based on the pressure data, a command for a second pump of an upstream vehicle where the second pump is fluidly coupled to an inlet of the first pump of the vehicle;
• and
• transmit the command for the second pump to the upstream vehicle.

A vehicle system comprising:

• a vehicle including:
• a chassis;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• a prime mover configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle;
• and
• a first pump;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to:
• receive, from a downstream vehicle, a command to vary a speed of the first pump where the downstream vehicle includes a second pump that is fluid coupled to an outlet of the first pump;
• and
• vary the speed of the first pump in response to receiving the command to vary the speed of the first pump.

A vehicle system comprising:

• a vehicle including:
• a chassis;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• a prime mover configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle;
• a first pump;
• a first sensor;
• a second sensor;
• and
• a third sensor;
• processing circuitry configured to:
• receive, from the first sensor, first sensor data relating to operation of the vehicle;
• predict a failure of a component of the vehicle based on the first sensor data;
• provide a first notification to a user including information describing the predicted failure;
• receive, from the second sensor, image data regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle;
• identify, using the image data, at least one of an object or an event within the surrounding environment;
• provide a second notification to the user based on the at least one of the object or the event that is identified;
• receive, from the third sensor, pressure data indicating a pressure of a fluid supplied by the first pump;
• determine, based on the pressure data, a command for a second pump of an upstream vehicle where the second pump is fluidly coupled to an inlet of the first pump of the vehicle;
• and
• transmit the command for the second pump to the upstream vehicle.

A vehicle system comprising:

• a first vehicle including:
• a first pump having an inlet and an outlet, the first pump being configured to direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet;
• a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure of the fluid;
• and
• a first processing circuit operatively coupled to the pressure sensor and the first pump, the first processing circuit configured to transmit a command to increase an amount of the fluid supplied to the inlet in response to a determination that the pressure is below a threshold pressure;
• and
• a second vehicle including:
• a second pump fluidly coupled to the inlet of the first pump and configured to supply at least a portion of the fluid to the inlet;
• and
• a second processing circuit operatively coupled to the second pump, the second processing circuit configured to control the second pump to increase the amount of the fluid supplied to the inlet of the first pump.

A vehicle system comprising:

• a vehicle;
• a first sensor;
• a second sensor;
• a third sensor;
• and
• processing circuitry operatively coupled to the first sensor, the second sensor, and the third sensor, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to:
• (a) receive, from the first sensor, first sensor data relating to operation of the vehicle, predict a failure of a component of the vehicle based on the first sensor data, and provide a first notification including information describing the predicted failure;
• (b) receive, from the second sensor, image data regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle, identify, using the image data, at least one of an object or an event within the surrounding environment, and provide a second notification based on the at least one of the object or the event that is identified;
• and
• (c) receive, from the third sensor, pressure data indicating a pressure of a fluid supplied by a first pump of the vehicle, determine, based on the pressure data, a command for a second pump of an upstream vehicle where the second pump is fluidly coupled to an inlet of the first pump of the vehicle, and transmit the command to the upstream vehicle.
