Drain hose and home appliance

A dishwasher comprising:

• a tub;
• a drain housing to drain wash water in the tub;
• a drain pump detachably coupled to the drain housing, the drain pump configured to pump the wash water;
• a drain port formed on one side of the drain housing, the drain port comprising:
• a port body to allow the wash water pumped by the drain pump to flow;
• and
• a locking portion formed on an outer surface of the port body;
• and
• a drain hose to drain the wash water discharged from the drain port to an outside of the dishwasher, the drain hose comprising:
• a hose body;
• a drain connector at one end of the hose body and connectable to the drain port, the drain connector comprising a locking hook to be locked to the locking portion of the drain port in response to inserting the drain connector into the port body of the drain port;
• a check valve configured to prevent a back flow of the wash water;
• a holder to fix the check valve to an inside of the drain connector and detachably coupled to one end of the drain connector;
• a sealer to seal between the drain port and the drain connector,
• wherein the holder comprises a first side portion disposed on one side of the sealer to limit a movement of the sealer in one direction, and
• the drain connector further comprises a second side portion disposed on an other side of the sealer to limit a movement of the sealer in a direction opposite to the one direction.

A dishwasher comprising:

• a tub;
• a drain housing to drain wash water in the tub;
• a drain pump detachably coupled to the drain housing, the drain pump configured to pump the wash water;
• a drain port formed on one side of the drain housing, the drain port comprising:
• a port body to allow the wash water pumped by the drain pump to flow;
• and
• a locking portion formed on an outer surface of the port body;
• and
• a drain hose to drain the wash water discharged from the drain port to an outside of the dishwasher, the drain hose comprising:
• a hose body;
• a drain connector at one end of the hose body and connectable to the drain port, the drain connector comprising a locking hook to be locked to the locking portion of the drain port in response to inserting the drain connector into the port body of the drain port;
• a check valve configured to prevent a back flow of the wash water, the check valve including:
• a valve body detachably coupled to an inner surface of the drain connector;
• and
• a flap to pivot with respect to the valve body to open or close a drain flow path formed inside the drain connector;
• and
• a first coupler formed in a lower portion of one side of the valve body;
• a holder to fix the check valve to an inside of the drain connector and detachably coupled to one end of the drain connector, the holder including a second coupler to correspond to the first coupler,
• wherein the one side of the valve body faces the holder.

A home appliance comprising:

• a main body;
• a tub disposed inside the main body to form a washing chamber;
• a drain port comprising:
• a port body connected to the tub;
• and
• a locking portion;
• and
• a drain hose to guide wash water inside the drain port to an outside of the home appliance, the drain hose including:
• a hose body;
• and
• a drain connector disposed at one end of the hose body and coupled to the drain port in a first direction, the drain connector comprising:
• a connector body;
• a locking hook extending from the connector body;
• a check valve configured to open or close a flow path formed in the connector body;
• and
• a holder having a part fixed inside the connector body to fix the check valve,
• wherein the locking hook comprises:
• a hook body protruding toward the drain port;
• and
• a hooking protrusion formed at one end of the hook body and protruding toward the locking portion of the drain port,
• wherein at least a part of the connector body is disposed inside the port body in response to coupling the drain connector to the drain port, and
• wherein the locking hook is locked to the locking portion formed on an outer surface of the port body in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction in response to inserting the drain connector into the port body of the drain port.
