Engaging device for fixing a baby carrier to a high chair of an infant seat assembly

An engaging device for fixing a baby carrier having a crossbar to a high chair having a carrier base, comprising:

• an engaging base configured to be connected to the carrier base;
• a first engaging mechanism movably disposed on the engaging base and adapted to releasably engage the crossbar with the engaging base;
• and
• a second engaging mechanism comprising:
• an engaging member connected to the carrier base and provided with a first engaging hole;
• a resilient arm connected to the engaging base;
• and
• a first engaging projection disposed on the resilient arm and adapted to be engaged with the first engaging hole.

An infant seat assembly, comprising:

• a high chair comprising a carrier base;
• a baby carrier comprising a crossbar;
• and
• an engaging device, the baby carrier is adapted to be detachably mounted to the carrier base of the high chair by the engaging device, the engaging device comprising:
• an engaging base configured to connect to the carrier base;
• and
• a first engaging mechanism movably disposed on the engaging base and adapted to releasably engage the crossbar with the engaging base, the first engaging mechanism comprising:
• an unlocking member movably connected to the engaging base and switchable between a locked state and an unlocked state, the unlocking member having an engaging portion, when the unlocking member is in the locked state, the engaging portion is engaged with the crossbar, and when the unlocking member is in the unlocked state, the crossbar is disengaged from the engaging portion;
• wherein the engaging portion has a first engaging surface and the engaging base has a second engaging surface, when the unlocking member is in the locked state, the first engaging surface and the second engaging surface are arranged opposite to each other, and the crossbar is engaged between the first engaging surface and the second engaging surface.
