Abstract
A sleeve connector system including at least some of a sleeve body; an adhesive strip provided along a portion of the top flap to allow a portion of the top flap to be permanently or releasably adhesively attached or coupled to a portion of the sleeve body; a port formed through the sleeve body, wherein the port allows access from an exterior of the sleeve body, through the sleeve body, to a sleeve cavity of the sleeve body; an interface portion, wherein at least a portion of the interface portion extends from the sleeve cavity, through the port, to the exterior of the sleeve body; a cable protector; and a connector portion having an internal borehole attached or coupled to an open end of the cable protector, and wherein the connector portion may be repeatably attached to or detached from the interface portion.
Claims20
A sleeve connector system, comprising:
- a sleeve body having at least one pair of opposed wall portions comprising a front wall portion and a rear wall portion, wherein an internal sleeve cavity is formed within at least a portion of said sleeve body, wherein said sleeve cavity is defined between an open top portion of said sleeve body and a bottom wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a top flap extending from a portion of said front wall portion, wherein a portion of said top flap is foldable over said open top portion to at least partially cover said open top portion;
- an adhesive strip provided along a portion of said top flap to allow a portion of said top flap to be permanently or releasably adhesively attached or coupled to a portion of an exterior surface of said rear wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a port formed through said sleeve body, proximate said bottom wall portion, wherein said port allows access from an exterior of said sleeve body, through said sleeve body, to said sleeve cavity;
- an interface portion, wherein at least a portion of said interface portion extends from said sleeve cavity, through said port, to said exterior of said sleeve body;
- a cable protector having an internal cable protector cavity formed therethrough;
- and
- a connector portion attached or coupled to an open end of said cable protector, wherein said interface portion includes at least some internal threads formed within at least a portion of an internal borehole of said interface portion, and wherein said connector portion includes at least some external threads, mateable to said internal threads of said interface portion such that said connector portion may be repeatably threadedly attached to or detached from said interface portion, via interaction of said external threads of said connector portion and said internal threads of said interface portion.
A sleeve connector system, comprising:
- a sleeve body having a front wall portion and a rear wall portion, wherein an internal sleeve cavity is formed within at least a portion of said sleeve body, wherein said sleeve cavity is defined between an open top portion of said sleeve body and a bottom wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a top flap extending from a portion of said front wall portion, wherein a portion of said top flap is foldable over said open top portion to at least partially cover said open top portion;
- an adhesive strip provided along a portion of said top flap to allow a portion of said top flap to be permanently or releasably adhesively attached or coupled to a portion of an exterior surface said rear wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a port formed through said sleeve body, proximate said bottom wall portion, wherein said port allows access from an exterior of said sleeve body, through said sleeve body, to said sleeve cavity;
- an interface portion, wherein at least a portion of said interface portion extends from said sleeve cavity, through said port, to said exterior of said sleeve body;
- a cable protector having an internal cable protector cavity formed therethrough;
- and
- a connector portion attached or coupled to an open end of said cable protector, wherein said interface portion includes an internal borehole, and wherein said connector portion may be repeatably attached to or detached from said interface portion, via interaction of said connector portion and said internal borehole of said interface portion.
A sleeve connector system, comprising:
- a sleeve body having an internal sleeve cavity formed within at least a portion of said sleeve body, wherein said sleeve cavity is defined between an open top portion of said sleeve body and a bottom wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a top flap extending from a portion of a front wall portion of said sleeve body, wherein a portion of said top flap is foldable over said open top portion to at least partially cover said open top portion;
- an adhesive strip provided along a portion of said top flap to allow a portion of said top flap to be permanently or releasably adhesively attached or coupled to a portion of an exterior surface of a rear wall portion of said sleeve body;
- a port formed through said sleeve body, proximate said bottom wall portion, wherein said port allows access from an exterior of said sleeve body, through said sleeve body, to said sleeve cavity;
- an interface portion, wherein at least a portion of said interface portion extends from said sleeve cavity, through said port, to said exterior of said sleeve body;
- a cable protector having an internal cable protector cavity formed therethrough;
- and
- a connector portion attached or coupled to an open end of said cable protector, wherein said interface portion includes at least one engagement groove formed within at least a portion of an internal borehole of said interface portion, and wherein said connector portion includes at least one engagement pin extending from said connector portion, wherein said engagement pin is at least partially positionable within at least a portion of said engagement groove of said interface portion such that said connector portion may be repeatably attached to or detached from said interface portion, via interaction of said engagement pin of said connector portion and said engagement groove of said interface portion.
