Collapsible and pop up lock box with mountable storage container and tether

A system to protect delivered items, the system comprising:

• a storage container;
• a collapsible lock box container, the collapsible lock box container comprising a frame, wherein the frame is configured to be folded when inside the storage container, and when folded, the frame is in tension ready to unfold and expand, but is configured to remain folded when inside the storage container;
• a tether attached to the storage container and the collapsible lock box container;
• wherein the collapsible lock box container is configured to automatically deploy from a folded stored configuration with a minimum volume when inside the storage container, to an unfolded and expanded configuration with a maximum volume due to the frame automatically unfolding and expanding into the maximum volume when removed from the storage container, and is ready to accept a delivered item when the collapsible lock box container is removed from the storage container.
