Abstract
Provided is a light extraction substrate disposed on a front portion of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) to extract light from the OLED. The light extraction substrate includes abase substrate and a light extraction layer disposed on the base substrate. The light extraction layer includes a matrix layer and BaTiO3 light-scattering particles dispersed in the matrix layer. The matrix layer contains a siloxane-based organic-inorganic hybrid material. An organic light-emitting device includes the light extraction substrate and an OLED disposed on the light extraction layer of the light extraction substrate.
Claims10
A light extraction substrate disposed on a front portion of an organic light-emitting diode to extract light from the organic light-emitting diode, the light extraction substrate comprising:
- a base substrate;
- and
- a light extraction layer disposed on the base substrate,
- wherein the light extraction layer comprises a matrix layer and BaTiO3 light-scattering particles dispersed in the matrix layer, and wherein the BaTiO3 light-scattering particles have an average particle size ranging from greater than 350 nm to less than 500 nm, and wherein the thickness of the matrix layer is two times the average particle size of the BaTiO3 light-scattering particles.
