A light detection and ranging (LiDAR) system comprising:
- a beam combining component to combine a first optical beam comprising a first polarization and a second optical beam comprising a second polarization into a single spatial mode optical beam;
- and
- a first beam splitting component to split the single spatial mode optical beam into a plurality of single spatial mode optical beams, wherein each of the plurality of single spatial mode optical beams comprises the first optical beam and the second optical beam.
A light detection and ranging (LiDAR) apparatus comprising:
- a beam combining component to combine a first optical beam comprising a first polarization and a second optical beam comprising a second polarization into a single spatial mode optical beam;
- and
- a first beam splitting component to split the single spatial mode optical beam into a plurality of single spatial mode optical beams, wherein each of the plurality of single spatial mode optical beams comprises the first optical beam and the second optical beam.
A method of light detection and ranging, the method comprising:
- combining a first optical beam comprising a first polarization and a second optical beam comprising a second polarization into a single spatial mode optical beam;
- and
- splitting the single spatial mode optical beam into a plurality of single spatial mode optical beams, wherein each of the plurality of single spatial mode optical beams comprises the first optical beam and the second optical beam.
