Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a clothes handing device that can receive at least one of a sound signal, driving information, or cycle information, and determine and classify an abnormal state.
Claims16
A laundry treating apparatus comprising:
- a cabinet;
- a tub provided in the cabinet to store water;
- a drum rotatably provided in the tub to accommodate laundry;
- a drive part coupled to the tub to rotate the drum;
- a microphone configured to detect noise generated in the cabinet or transmitted therefrom;
- a controller configured to control at least one of the drive part or the microphone and perform an arbitrary course to wash or dry the laundry;
- a display part configured to display a state of the controller outside;
- and
- a harness configured to connect at least one of the drive part, the microphone, or the display to the controller,
- wherein the controller is provided to receive:
- (i) a sound signal comprising at least one of a magnitude of the noise detected by the microphone, a frequency of the noise, or a period of the noise;
- and
- (ii) driving information comprising a current value, rpm, a laundry weight, and eccentricity output from the drive part;
- and
- wherein the controller is provided to detect an abnormal state comprising at least one of a ground defect of the cabinet, a vibration defect of the cabinet, a driving defect of the drive part, or a fastening defect of the harness.
