Abstract
Disclosed herein are therapeutic uses of p75NTR neurotrophin binding proteins and related molecules, such as fusion proteins comprising p75NTR neurotrophin binding proteins and immunoglobulin Fc or portions thereof, in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
Claims6
A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an amount of the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, an excipient, or a combination thereof, wherein the amount is an amount effective to treat osteoarthritis or to slow, arrest, or reverse progression of osteoarthritis in a mammalian subject suffering therefrom, and wherein the amount comprises a dose of between 0.3-3.0 mg/kg body weight.
