Work machine

A work machine comprising:

• a motor configured to be switchable between a drive state and a stop state;
• a housing that houses the motor;
• and
• a transmission mechanism that is supported by the housing, and connected to a suspension device,
• wherein the transmission mechanism:
• is configured to be movable from an initial position to a withdrawn position and movable from the withdrawn position to the initial position while being supported by the housing,
• allows the motor to switch between the drive state and the stop state when in the initial position and restricts the drive of the motor when in the withdrawn position,
• is configured to enter an operating state that restricts driving of the motor by moving from the initial position to the withdrawn position, and
• is configured to enter an initial state that allows driving of the motor by moving from the withdrawn position to the initial position when in the operating state.

A work machine comprising:

• a motor;
• a housing that houses the motor;
• a switch housed in the housing and configured to be switchable to an ON state to drive the motor or to an OFF state to stop the motor;
• a switching portion operable by an operator and configured to switch the switch from the OFF state to the ON state by moving from an OFF position to an ON position;
• an ON-lock mechanism configured to cause the switching portion to enter an ON-lock state in which the switching portion is held in the ON position after the operation to the switching portion is released;
• and
• a suspension device supported by the housing,
• wherein the ON-lock mechanism is configured to release the ON-lock state of the switching portion and move the switching portion to the OFF position from the ON position when the suspension device is pulled and the switching portion is in the ON-lock state.
