Edge communication system with cascaded repeater devices over wired medium

A communication system, comprising:

• a plurality of repeater devices arranged at a plurality of different locations and are communicatively coupled over a plurality of wired mediums,
• wherein a first repeater device of the plurality of repeater devices is configured to:
• obtain an mmWave radio frequency (RF) signal from a communication device;
• communicate, over a wired medium of the plurality of wired mediums, the mmWave RF signal of a specified frequency to a second repeater device of the plurality of repeater devices, and wherein the second repeater device is configured to:
• extract a plurality of different RF signals, corresponding to different communication protocols, from the mmWave RF signal;
• wirelessly distribute, based on the extraction from the mmWave RF signal, at least two of:
• a wireless wide area network (WWAN) signal, a wireless local area network (WLAN) signal, a citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) signal, a wireless personal area network (WPAN) signal, or a combination thereof to a plurality of end-user devices;
• receive content from the plurality of end-user devices;
• pack the content received from the plurality of end-user devices;
• and
• transmit the packed content upstream in the mmWave RF signal to the communication device via the first repeater device.
