Abstract
Methods and systems are described for the detection and identification of a cellular device that crosses a perimeter associated with a premises that is installed with a monitoring system. Subsequently, a determination of an unauthorized device within the perimeter may be made based on a wireless signal. An appropriate security response may be made.
Claims32
A method comprising:
- determining, by a computing device based on receiving at least one wireless signal transmitted by a suspect device, a difference between:
- a movement pattern of the suspect device, within a proximity of a zone associated with a premises;
- and
- a movement pattern of an authorized user associated with the premises;
- and
- activating, based on the difference, an intruder alarm.
3 more elements
A method comprising:
- determining, by a computing device, an unauthorized device at a premises based on at least one wireless signal transmitted by the unauthorized device;
- determining a location of a device associated with an occupant within the premises;
- determining, based on the location of the device associated with the occupant and further based on the at least one wireless signal transmitted by the unauthorized device, a predicted trajectory of the unauthorized device;
- and
- sending, to the device associated with the occupant, an exit route that avoids the predicted trajectory of the unauthorized device.
2 more elements
A computing device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
- determine a difference between:
- a movement pattern of a suspect device, within a proximity of a zone associated with a premises, wherein the movement pattern of the suspect device is determined based on at least one wireless signal transmitted by the suspect device;
- and
- a movement pattern of an authorized user associated with the premises;
- and
- activate, based on the difference, an intruder alarm.

- determine an unauthorized device at a premises based on at least one wireless signal transmitted by the unauthorized device;
- determine a location of a device associated with an occupant within the premises;
- determine, based on the location of the device associated with the occupant and further based on the at least one wireless signal transmitted by the unauthorized device, a predicted trajectory of the unauthorized device;
- and
- send, to the device associated with the occupant, an exit route that avoids the predicted trajectory of the unauthorized device.
