Cryogenic fluid storage unit

A cryogenic fluid storage unit comprising:

• an internal reservoir inwardly delimiting a cryogenic fluid storage volume, an external reservoir housing the internal reservoir, and a suspension attaching the internal reservoir to the external reservoir, the suspension comprising a connection comprising:
• an outer tube having an outer proximal end attached to the internal reservoir and an outer distal end located inside the cryogenic fluid storage volume;
• a bottom plate closing the outer distal end;
• an inner tube arranged inside the outer tube, having an inner proximal end connected to the external reservoir and an inner distal end attached to the internal reservoir;
• a cup having a central portion and an edge rigidly attached to the external reservoir;
• a sliding tube passing through an orifice in the central portion and rigidly attached to the central portion, the inner proximal end being slidably engaged in the sliding tube;
• and
• a movement limiter, limiting a deflection of the inner tube relative to the internal reservoir in a plane perpendicular to a central axis of the inner tube, the movement limiter:
• either being attached to the sliding tube;
• or
• being attached to the internal reservoir and engaging with the sliding tube.
