Surface mount snap action switch device

A switch device, comprising:

• a movable terminal including a snap action mechanism that bends a spring when a user moves an operating portion;
• a first fixed terminal that contacts the movable terminal when the spring is not bent;
• and
• a second fixed terminal that contacts the movable terminal when the operating portion is moved by a specified amount to bend the spring, wherein the second fixed terminal includes a portion machined into a fixed contact that contacts the movable terminal,
• wherein
• the fixed contact projects in a bulging shape so as to be curved toward the movable terminal from a base portion of the second fixed terminal body,
• the second fixed terminal is a unitary one-piece member, and
• the second fixed terminal includes two support portions positioned at two opposite sides of the fixed contact.
