Abstract
In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising: detecting, by a processor, a remote access session from an accessing device to an accessed device; determining, by the processor, an access session screen-sharing security policy for the accessed device; and preventing, by the processor, the remote access session in response to a violation of the access session screen-sharing security policy.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- monitoring, by a processor and on an operation dashboard, a remote access session from an accessing device to an accessed device that allows the accessing device to invoke one or more operations in support of software processes executing remotely on the accessed device;
- determining, by the processor, an access session screen-sharing security policy for the accessed device, wherein the access session screen-sharing security policy requires screen sharing of the remote access session by the accessing device with one or more viewing devices while the accessing device accesses the accessed device;
- and
- preventing, by the processor, the accessing device from further accessing the accessed device through the remote access session when in violation of the access session screen-sharing security policy.
A tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor on a computer, cause the computer to perform a method comprising:
- monitoring, on an operation dashboard, a remote access session from an accessing device to an accessed device that allows the accessing device to invoke one or more operations in support of software processes executing remotely on the accessed device;
- determining an access session screen-sharing security policy for the accessed device, wherein the access session screen-sharing security policy requires screen sharing of the remote access session by the accessing device with one or more viewing devices while the accessing device accesses the accessed device;
- and
- preventing the accessing device from further accessing the accessed device through the remote access session when in violation of the access session screen-sharing security policy.
An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more network interfaces to communicate with a network;
- a processor coupled to the one or more network interfaces and configured to execute one or more processes;
- and
- a memory configured to store a process that is executable by the processor, the process, when executed, configured to:
- monitor, on an operation dashboard, a remote access session from an accessing device to an accessed device that allows the accessing device to invoke one or more operations in support of software processes executing remotely on the accessed device;
- determine an access session screen-sharing security policy for the accessed device, wherein the access session screen-sharing security policy requires screen sharing of the remote access session by the accessing device with one or more viewing devices while the accessing device accesses the accessed device;
- and
- prevent the accessing device from further accessing the accessed device through the remote access session when in violation of the access session screen-sharing security policy.
