Abstract
A method includes receiving, by a frame converter, a frame of pixel data and converting, by the frame converter, the frame to a first frame division unit. The method also includes receiving, by a translation circuit, a pixel coordinate and cropping and shifting, by the translation circuit, the first frame division unit based on the pixel coordinate, to produce a second frame division unit. Additionally, the method includes outputting, by the translation circuit, the second frame division unit.
Claims17
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a frame converter, video frames at a frame rate;
- converting, by the frame converter, the video frames to first bit planes;
- receiving, by a translation circuit, pixel coordinates;
- using the translation circuit, calculating shift values for the first bit planes, responsive the pixel coordinates, cropping the first bit planes based on the shift values, and shifting uncropped bits of the first bit planes to produce second bit planes;
- and
- outputting, by the translation circuit, the second bit planes.

- a frame converter configurable to:
- receive video frames at a frame rate;
- convert the video frames to first bit planes;

- output the first bit planes;

- a translation circuit configurable to:
- receive the first bit planes;

- a sensor configurable to produce a sensor signal, the processor configurable to produce pixel coordinates responsive to the sensor signal;
- a frame converter configurable to convert video frames to first bit planes;

- a translation circuit configurable to:
- receive the pixel coordinates;
- calculate shift values for the first bit planes, responsive to the pixel coordinates, crop the first bit planes based on the shift values, and shift uncropped bits of the first bit planes to produce second bit planes;
- and
- output the second bit planes to the display device.
