Device for detecting an analyte in a sample

A device for detecting an analyte in a fluid sample, comprising:

• a chamber for receiving a testing element therein;
• a carrier located in the chamber, wherein the carrier is used for bearing the testing element;
• a movable element;
• and
• a locking structure;
• wherein the movable element is connected with the carrier;
• the movable element has a first locking position and a second position on the chamber,
• wherein, when the movable element is in the first position, the testing element on the carrier is not contact with the fluid sample;
• when the movable element is in the second position, the testing element is in contact with the fluid sample;
• after being unlocked, the movable element is capable of manually sliding to the second position from the first position, thus driving the carrier to move to the second position from the first position,
• wherein the chamber comprises a sliding groove, the movable element includes a sliding rail, and the movable element is capable of moving from the first position to the second position via the sliding rail sliding in the sliding groove of the chamber,
• wherein the movable element is connected with the chamber via the locking structure, and a portion of the locking structure is located on the sliding groove of the chamber, and another portion of the locking structure is located on the movable element, and
• wherein the portion of the locking structure located on the sliding groove comprises two opposing notches disposed relatively, and the portion of the locking structure located on the movable element comprises two bolts.
