Thermoplastic resin and optical member including same

A thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) containing a unit represented by formula (1) and a thermoplastic resin (B) containing a unit represented by formula (2),

• wherein in the formula (1), L1 and L2 each independently represent a divalent linking group, k and 1 each independently represent an integer of 0 or more, R1, R2, R3, and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and W represents a divalent linking group, and
• wherein in the formula (2), L3 and L4 each independently represent a divalent linking group, m and n each independently represent an integer of 0 or more, and R5, R6, R7, and R8 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms,
• wherein W in the formula (1) includes formula (3) or (4),
• wherein in the formula (3), L5 and L6 each independently represent a divalent linking group, o and p each independently represent an integer of 0 or more, and R9, R10, R11, and R12 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and
• wherein in the formula (4), rings Z are a naphthalene ring, L7 and L8 each independently represent a divalent linking group, q and r each independently represent an integer of 0 or more, and R13, R14, R15, and R16 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and
• the thermoplastic resin composition has an unnotched Charpy impact strength of 25 J/m2 or more.
