Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1) for separating feed material (2) for separating a first fraction (3) comprising moist, slippery, slimy, kneadable, dough-like, cohesive and/or tough soils and/or soil materials, preferably clay-containing or clay-like adhesions, further preferably intended for use in a quarry, with a plurality of rotary elements (4) designed as helical screws, wherein a rotary element (4) has a shaft (5) and at least one helix (6) extending spirally around the shaft (5). According to the invention, at least one entraining element (8) arranged on the outer surface (7) of the shaft (5) and projecting from the outer surface (7) of the shaft (5) is provided for entraining and/or separating the first fraction (3).
Claims19
A device configured to separate feed material in a quarry, the device configured to separate a first fraction of soil materials comprising:
- a plurality of rotary elements, wherein the rotary elements are helical screws, wherein each rotary element includes a shaft and at least one helix extending spirally around each of the respective shafts,
- wherein at least one entraining element is arranged on an outer surface of each of the respective shafts and projects from the outer surface of each of the respective shafts, the at least one entraining element configured to one or more of entrain and separate the first fraction,
- wherein the entraining element is one or more of a linear, bead-shaped elevation, and a strip-shaped web which is one or more of continuous and uninterrupted in a longitudinal direction of teach of the respective shafts,
- wherein the at least one entraining element has a thickness of at least 1 mm, and
- wherein the at least one entraining element is one or more of a build-up welding and armor plating.
