Abstract
A display device includes: a substrate, a display pad disposed on the substrate, and a circuit board including an electrode facing the display pad. The display pad includes: a first pad electrode disposed on the substrate; a second pad electrode disposed on the first pad electrode, overlapping the first pad electrode in a thickness direction, and electrically connected to the first pad electrode; and insulating members spaced apart from each other with a top surface of the second pad electrode interposed therebetween, and disposed on the second pad electrode while covering opposite edges of the top surface of the second pad electrode and opposite side surfaces of the second pad electrode.
Claims20
A display device comprising:
- a substrate;
- a display pad disposed on the substrate;
- and
- a circuit board comprising an electrode facing the display pad,
- wherein the display pad comprises:
- a first pad electrode disposed on the substrate,
- a second pad electrode disposed on the first pad electrode, overlapping the first pad electrode in a plan view, and electrically connected to the first pad electrode, and
- insulating members spaced apart from each other with a top surface of the second pad electrode interposed therebetween, and disposed on the second pad electrode while covering opposite edges of the top surface of the second pad electrode and opposite side surfaces of the second pad electrode,
- wherein a height of a top surface of each of the insulating members is higher than a height of a portion of the top surface of the second pad electrode exposed by the insulating members.
A display device comprising a display area comprising a thin film transistor and a non-display area disposed around the display area and comprising a pad area, the display device comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first insulating layer comprising at least one layer disposed on the substrate;
- a first conductive layer disposed on the first insulating layer;
- a second insulating layer disposed on the first conductive layer and comprising at least one layer;
- a second conductive layer disposed on the second insulating layer;
- and
- a display pad disposed in the pad area,
- wherein the display pad comprises:
- a first pad electrode disposed on the substrate,
- a second pad electrode disposed on the first pad electrode, overlapping the first pad electrode in a plan view, and electrically connected to the first pad electrode, and
- insulating members covering opposite side surfaces and opposite edges of a top surface of the second pad electrode and exposing a part of the top surface of the second pad electrode,
- wherein a height of a top surface of each of the insulating members is higher than a height of a portion of the top surface of the second pad electrode exposed by the insulating members.
