Water cooler assembly and system

A cooler for a computer processor, said cooler comprising:

• an enclosure formed of an upper housing stacked on a top of and fastened to a lower housing, the enclosure comprising:
• a first chamber;
• a second chamber;
• a pump;
• an inlet disposed in a first aperture;
• an outlet disposed in a second aperture, wherein the inlet is in fluid communication with the pump in the first chamber and the outlet is in fluid communication with the second chamber;
• a cold plate fixed to a bottom surface of the lower housing and the second chamber, the cold plate configured to transfer heat from the computer processor into the second chamber;
• a manifold positioned within said second chamber over a top of said cold plate and which forms a seal with the cold plate, said manifold comprises at least two paths for delivering a fluid to and from said cold plate;
• wherein said cold plate has fins formed thereon, and said fluid is directed through channels formed between said fins by said manifold.

A cooler for a computer processor, said cooler comprising:

• a cooler housing enclosing a cooler chamber, said cooler housing having an inlet and an outlet;
• and
• a cold plate fixed to a bottom surface of the cooler housing, the cold plate configured to transfer heat from the computer processor into the cooler chamber;
• wherein the cooler chamber is defined between a lower housing and the cold plate and the cooler further comprises a manifold positioned within said cooler chamber over a top of said cold plate and which forms a seal with the cold plate, said manifold comprises at least two paths for delivering a fluid to and from said cold plate;
• and
• wherein said cold plate has fins formed thereon, and said fluid is directed through channels formed between said fins by said manifold.
