Building

A building comprising:

• a hipped roof including a first roof part declining downward from an uppermost part of the first roof part, a second roof part adjacent to the first roof part in a horizontal direction, and a protrusion provided at a boundary part between the first roof part and the second roof part, the protrusion protruding upward from an upper surface of the first roof part;
• an erected part erected on the first roof part, the erected part having a side surface contacting a part of the protrusion and extending from the part toward a side opposite to the second roof part, the part being below the uppermost part of the first roof part, and the side surface facing the uppermost part of the first roof part and intersecting with a direction in which the first roof part declines downward;
• and
• a water guide body provided over the first roof part and the side surface of the erected part to guide water flowing along the first roof part toward a lateral side of the erected part,
• wherein the water guide body is connected to the protrusion and has a shape for restricting accumulation of water in a region between the protrusion, the first roof part, and the erected part.
