Abstract
A fluorine-containing ether compound represented by the following formula. R1—CH2—R2a—CH2—R3a—CH2—R2b—CH2—R3b—CH2—R2c—CH2—R3c—CH2—R2d—CH2—R4 (R2a, R2b, R2c and R2d are each a perfluoropolyether chain, R3a, R3b, and R3c are each a divalent linking group having one or more polar groups, at least one of R3a, R3b, and R3c is represented by —OCH2CH(OH)CH2O—, and R1 and R4 are each a terminal group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms and one or more polar groups, and may be the same as or different from each other).
