Installation for the production of mineral wool and device for spraying a sizing composition, forming part of such an installation

A mineral wool manufacturing installation, comprising:

• a gluing station;
• fiberization means configured to bring mineral fibres into the gluing station for the mineral fibres, wherein the gluing station comprises only a gluing device, the gluing device consisting of an annular discharge device for discharging a gluing composition onto the mineral fibres, the annular discharge device being arranged so as to have a plane of revolution at a right angle to a direction of passage of a torus of the mineral fibres to be glued, the mineral fibres being bound directly upon their entry into the gluing station without a cooling ring being arranged in the gluing station,
• wherein the annular discharge device comprises two distinct distribution circuits and at least two spray nozzles fluidically connected with the two distinct distribution circuits and arranged on a perimeter of the annular discharge device for discharging the gluing composition onto the mineral fibres intended to pass inside the annular discharge device,
• wherein the annular discharge device is defined by an axis of revolution, wherein the gluing composition is a binder based on biosourced products,
• wherein two or more spray nozzles of the at least two spray nozzles each comprise a spray head having a slit with a rectangular section, through which the binder based on biosourced products leaves the annular discharge device so as to form a fan of binder based on biosourced products,
• wherein a periphery of said slit with rectangular section of each spray head of the two or more spray nozzles is formed by a rectangle that has two opposite largest sides and two opposite smallest sides connected to the two opposite largest sides, wherein each of the two opposite largest sides of the rectangle entirely extend in planes that are parallel to a plane of revolution of the annular discharge device, wherein each spray nozzle of the two or more spray nozzles is oriented towards an interior of the annular discharge device with an angle of inclination determined with respect to the plane of revolution of the annular discharge device, the two or more spray nozzles being distributed over the perimeter of the annular discharge device, the slit with rectangular section of each spray head of the two or more spray nozzles being dimensioned in such a way that the corresponding fan of binder based on biosourced products has a spray fan angle in a first direction corresponding to the two opposite largest sides of said slit with rectangular section that is greater than or equal to twice a spray thickness angle of the corresponding fan of binder based on biosourced products in a second direction corresponding to the two opposite smallest sides of said slit with rectangular section,
• wherein the two distinct distribution circuits are offset along the axis of revolution of the annular discharge device, the at least two spray nozzles being arranged between the two distinct distribution circuits so as to be fluidically connected with each of said two distinct distribution circuits,
• wherein the two distinct distribution circuits comprise a first distribution circuit and a second distribution circuit, wherein the first distribution circuit is configured to receive the binder based on biosourced products and the second distribution circuit is configured to receive compressed air, and
• wherein the first distribution circuit comprises a first conduit having an internal diameter at a mean section and the second distribution circuit comprises a second conduit having an internal diameter at a mean section, and wherein the internal diameter of the first conduit at the mean section is smaller than the internal diameter of the second conduit at the mean section, each said internal diameter being measured in a plane perpendicular to the plane of revolution such that a cross-section for flow of the binder based on biosourced products is smaller than a cross-section for flow of the compressed air.
