Device and method for operating on products, in particular for packaging articles in boxes

A method for packaging articles in boxes, comprising:

• arranging a carousel rotatable around a substantially vertical axis of rotation,
• arranging a frame having a ring shape and provided at a top of the frame with a first operating unit arranged to operate on at least one of said articles or one of said boxes, said frame fixed with respect to ground,
• arranging a second operating unit comprising a first member and a second member, the first member and the second member constrained to said carousel in a position below said frame, said second member opposed to said first member with respect to said frame,
• rotating said carousel to move said second operating unit along a predefined path extended along said frame, and
• operating on said at least one of said articles or one of said boxes present at said predefined path by said second operating unit.
