Abstract
A novel sorghum variety designated 2PRMZ09A and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a plant comprise crossing sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A with another plant. Sorghum seed, plants and plant parts produced by crossing sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A with another plant are described. Methods for producing a plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 2PRMZ09A include one or both of backcross conversion and transformation. Hybrid sorghum seed, plants or plant parts produced by crossing the sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A or a locus conversion of 2PRMZ09A with another sorghum variety are disclosed.
Claims20
A seed of sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202510048.
A plant, non-seed plant part, seed or plant cell of sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202510048, the plant, non-seed plant part, seed, or plant cell, further comprising a locus conversion, wherein the plant or a plant grown from the plant part, seed or plant cell otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A when grown under the same environmental conditions.
A plant, non-seed plant part, seed, or plant cell of sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA Accession Number 202510048, the plant, non-seed plant part, seed, or plant cell further comprising a single locus conversion, wherein the single locus conversion is introduced into sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A by backcrossing or transformation, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the plant part, seed or plant cell otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of sorghum variety 2PRMZ09A when grown under the same environmental conditions.
