System and method to reduce interruptions in a network

A method, comprising:

• establishing a communication session between a first network component and a second network component based at least in part upon a plurality of configuration commands, wherein:
• each configuration command indicates one or more connection requirements to establish one or more communication sessions between two or more network components of a plurality of network components;
• generating a plurality of space backup configuration commands indicating to back up the plurality of configuration commands to a space server;
• transferring the plurality of space backup configuration commands to the space server;
• determining that the communication session between the first network component and the second network component is interrupted;
• and
• in response to determining that the communication session is interrupted, reestablishing the communication session between the first network component and the second network component via the space server based at least in part upon the plurality of space backup configuration commands.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to:

• establish a communication session between a first network component and a second network component based at least in part upon a plurality of configuration commands, wherein:
• each configuration command indicates one or more connection requirements to establish one or more communication sessions between two or more network components of a plurality of network components;
• generate a plurality of space backup configuration commands indicating to back up the plurality of configuration commands to a space server;
• transfer the plurality of space backup configuration commands to the space server;
• determine that the communication session between the first network component and the second network component is interrupted;
• and
• in response to determining that the communication session is interrupted, reestablish the communication session between the first network component and the second network component via the space server based at least in part upon the plurality of space backup configuration commands.
