Abstract
A system for reloading a container with proppant. The system includes a transloader having a conveyer belt and a discharge device. The system includes a reloading system comprising a bulk material storage bin having a proppant receiving area, a funnel having an expandable loading tube, and a gate for controlling flow of the proppant from the funnel into the container. The system comprises a reloader comprising a loading bay having a load cell and the container disposed on the load cell.
Claims17
A reloading system, comprising:
- a reloader, comprising:
- a height-adjustable frame defining at least two reloading bays, the height
- adjustable frame comprising a top portion and a bottom portion;
- and
- a material storage bin comprising at least two material dispensing devices;
- wherein:
- the height-adjustable frame comprises a plurality of hydraulic cylinders at respective ends of the frame and configured to be selectively activated to raise the top portion of the frame relative to the bottom portion of the frame;
- each reloading bay is configured to:
- temporarily receive an unfilled container;
- maintain the container in position while the container is filled with material from the material storage bin;
- provide the filled container for removal from the reloading bay;
- and
- each material dispensing device is configured to selectively engage with a respective unfilled container in a respective reloading bay;
- each material dispensing device comprises a selectively expandable tube;
- and
- each selectively expandable tube comprises an interchangeable box fill adapter at a distal end thereof.
A reloading system, comprising:
- a reloader, comprising:
- a height-adjustable frame defining at least two reloading bays, the height-adjustable frame comprising a top portion and a bottom portion;
- and
- a material storage bin comprising at least two material dispensing devices;
- wherein:
- the height-adjustable frame comprises a plurality of hydraulic cylinders at respective ends of the frame and configured to be selectively activated to raise the top portion of the frame relative to the bottom portion of the frame;
- each reloading bay is configured to:
- temporarily receive an unfilled container;
- maintain the container in position while the container is filled with material from the material storage bin;
- provide the filled container for removal from the reloading bay;
- each material dispensing device is configured to selectively engage with a respective unfilled container in a respective reloading bay;
- and
- each material dispensing device comprises an interchangeable box fill adapter.
A reloading system, comprising:
- a reloader, comprising:
- a height-adjustable frame defining at least two reloading bays, the height-adjustable frame comprising a top portion and a bottom portion;
- and
- a material storage bin comprising at least two material dispensing devices;
- wherein:
- the height-adjustable frame comprises a plurality of hydraulic cylinders at respective ends of the frame and configured to be selectively activated to raise the top portion of the frame relative to the bottom portion of the frame;
- each reloading bay is configured to:
- temporarily receive an unfilled container;
- maintain the container in position while the container is filled with material from the material storage bin;
- provide the filled container for removal from the reloading bay;
- each material dispensing device is configured to selectively engage with a respective unfilled container in a respective reloading bay;
- and
- the frame comprises an adjustable container guide that is reconfigurable to receive containers of varying sizes.
A method of reloading a container, comprising:
- providing a reloading system, comprising:
- a reloader, comprising:
- a height-adjustable frame having a top portion and a bottom portion, the height-adjustable frame defining a reloading bay;
- and
- a load cell disposed in the reloading bay;
- a material storage bin, comprising a material dispensing device;
- optionally adjusting a height of the height-adjustable frame;
- positioning an empty container in the reloading bay;
- actuating the reloading system to allow material to flow from the material storage bin into the empty container via the material dispensing device to provide a filled container;
- and
- removing the filled container from the reloading bay;
- wherein the height-adjustable frame comprises a plurality of hydraulic cylinders at respective ends of the frame and configured to be selectively activated to raise the top portion of the frame relative to the bottom portion of the frame;
- and
- wherein the optionally adjusting step is based on a height of the container positioned in the reloading bay.
A reloading system, comprising:
- a reloader, comprising:
- a height-adjustable frame comprising a plurality of reloading bays, each reloading bay being configured to temporarily receive an unfilled container and subsequently provide a filled container for removal from the respective reloading bay, wherein the frame comprises a top portion and a bottom portion;
- a material storage bin configured to be positioned above the reloader, the material storage bin comprising a plurality of material dispensing devices for dispensing material out of the material storage bin, each of the material dispensing devices comprising an interchangeable fill port adaptor;
- wherein:
- the material storage bin is configured to selectively discharge material into the unfilled container;
- the height-adjustable frame comprises at least hydraulic cylinder at each respective end of the frame, the hydraulic cylinders being configured to be selectively activated to raise the top portion of the frame relative to the bottom portion of the frame.
