Abstract
A weighted blanket includes a length of layered yarn arranged to form a weighted material having loops in an interlooped pattern, the weighted material having a top side and a bottom side. The length of layered yarn includes an outer tube having a length and defining a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough; and textile materials positioned within the outer tube, each textile material including comprises a spun fiber arranged in a substantially longitudinal direction uninterrupted within the conduit. The interlooped pattern includes openings between the loops, the openings configured to allow airflow between the top side and the bottom side for providing breathability.

A weighted blanket comprising:
- a weighted material formed, from a length of yarn, in a substantially single layer of interlooped yarn, the length of the yarn, comprising:
- an outer tube comprising a length and an inner tubular wall defining a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough the length of yarn further comprising;
- and
- at least one inner sheet positioned within the conduit, the at least one inner sheet comprising a spun fiber textile sheet folded about a fold axis and extending uninterrupted and substantially longitudinally within the conduit from a first end of the outer tube to a second end of the outer tube,
- wherein at least one inner sheet is attached along a longitudinal region of the inner tubular wall such that the at least one inner sheet is retained in a fixed positional relationship relative to the outer tube during and subsequent to an interlooping of the length of yarn.
A weighted blanket comprising:
- a length of layered yarn arranged to form a weighted material having loops in an interlooped pattern, the weighted material having a top side and a bottom side, the length of layered yarn comprising:
- an outer tube comprising a length and an inner tubular wall defining a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough;
- and
- a fiber material comprising a plurality of spun fibers arranged within the conduit, each spun fiber of the plurality of spun fibers arranged in a substantially longitudinal direction uninterrupted within the conduit,
- wherein at least one of the plurality of spun fibers is attached along a longitudinal region of the inner tubular wall such that the at least one of the plurality of spun fibers is retained in a fixed positional relationship relative to the outer tube during and subsequent to interlooping of the length of the layered yarn,
- wherein the interlooped pattern is a single layer of interlooped yarn including knots at cross-sections of the loops and openings between the loops, the openings configured to allow airflow between the top side and the bottom side for providing breathability.
A weighted blanket comprising:
- a length of layered yarn arranged to form a weighted material having loops in an interlooped pattern, the weighted material having a top side and a bottom side, the length of layered yarn comprising:
- an outer tube comprising a length and an inner tubular wall defining a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough;
- and
- a plurality of inner materials positioned within the outer tube, each inner material of the plurality of inner materials comprising a spun fiber arranged in a substantially longitudinal direction uninterrupted within the conduit,
- wherein at least one of the plurality of inner materials is attached along a longitudinal region of the inner tubular wall such that the at least one of a plurality of inner materials is retained in a fixed positional relationship relative to the outer tube during and subsequent to interlooping of the length of the layered yarn,
- wherein the interlooped pattern is a single layer of interlooped yarn including knots at cross-sections of the loops and openings between the loops, the openings configured to allow airflow between the top side and the bottom side for providing breathability.
A weighted blanket comprising:
- a length of layered yarn arranged to form a weighted material having loops in an interlooped pattern, the weighted material having a top side and a bottom side, the interlooped pattern including knots at cross-sections of the loops, wherein the length of layered yarn comprises:
- an outer tube extending from a first end to a second end, the outer tube comprising an inner tubular wall defining a conduit extending longitudinally therethrough from the first end to the second end;
- and
- a plurality of lengths of material arranged within the conduit, each length of material of the plurality of lengths of material comprising a spun fiber, wherein the spun fiber is arranged in a substantially longitudinal direction uninterrupted between the first end and the second end,
- wherein at least one of the plurality of lengths of material is attached along a longitudinal region of the inner tubular wall such that the at least one of the lengths of material fibers is retained in a fixed positional relationship relative to the outer tube during and subsequent to interlooping of the length of the layered yarn,
- wherein the interlooped pattern includes openings where the length of layered yarn crosses other lengths of layered yarn, the openings configured to allow airflow between the top side and the bottom side thereby providing breathability,
- wherein the length of layered yarn has a substantially homogenous weight and density along the length of the outer tube.
