Abstract
This document provides methods and materials related to selected severe acute respiratory distress coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) polypeptides. For example, this document provides vaccine compositions that contain one or more selected SARS-CoV-2 polypeptides provided herein and that have the ability to induce or increase immune responses against coronaviruses such as SARS-CoV-2 within a mammal (e.g., a human).
Claims20
A substantially pure polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:75.
A method for increasing an immune response against a coronavirus in a mammal, wherein said method comprises administering to said mammal a composition comprising a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 75 or nucleic acid encoding said polypeptide.
A method for treating a mammal at risk of developing a coronavirus infection, wherein said method comprises administering to said mammal a composition comprising a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:75 or nucleic acid encoding said polypeptide.
A method for treating a mammal having a coronavirus infection, wherein said method comprises administering to said mammal a composition comprising a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:75 or nucleic acid encoding said polypeptide.
