Abstract
A tray assembly for use with a bed includes a planar support configured to extend under a mattress of the bed, an upright post connected to the planar support, an arm connected to the upright post, and a worksurface platform mounted to an end of the arm opposite the upright post, wherein the arm provides an adjustable spacing between the upright post and the worksurface platform.
Claims23
A tray assembly for use with a bed, comprising:
- a planar support configured to extend under a mattress of the bed;
- an upright post connected to the planar support;
- an arm connected to the upright post and configured to extend laterally over the planar support;
- and
- a worksurface platform mounted to an end of the arm opposite the upright post,
- wherein the worksurface platform is selectively tiltable about the arm while the arm remains in a lateral position over the planar support, and
- wherein the arm provides an adjustable spacing between the upright post and the worksurface platform, and
- wherein the worksurface platform is mounted at a selectable position along the arm with a compression mount to secure a selected spacing between the upright post and the worksurface platform and a selected tilt angle for the worksurface platform.
