Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, an undercoat layer provided on the conductive substrate and containing a binder resin and an n-type organic pigment, and a photosensitive layer provided on the undercoat layer, in which an amount of an Fe element in the undercoat layer that is detected by high-frequency inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometric analysis is 80 ppm or less.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising:
- a conductive substrate;
- an undercoat layer provided on the conductive substrate and containing a binder resin and an n-type organic pigment;
- and
- a photosensitive layer provided on the undercoat layer,
- wherein an amount of an Fe element in the undercoat layer that is detected by high-frequency inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometric analysis is in a range from 25 ppm or more to 80 ppm or less.
