Claims16
A profiled section for temperature-controlling a room and supporting end plates, having:
- a receptacle for retaining a pipe register, the receptacle having an opening for receiving the pipe register and being integrated with a contact face that defines a first surface of a planar portion;
- an end face which is configured so as to be at least lateral to the receptacle and defining a second surface of the planar portion that is opposite the contact face;
- the contact face further defining at least two contact face surfaces separated by the receptacle, the at least two contact face surfaces configured for each receiving an end plate so that each received end plate is disposed on the contact face of the planar portion opposite the end face, wherein the profiled section is an extruded profiled section, a rolled profiled section or a folded profiled section;
- and
- a plurality of retaining webs configured to facilitate attaching the profiled section to a structural component of the room and formed as a portion of the contact face between the two contact face surfaces and extending therefrom in a direction opposite the end face, wherein the end face is configured to form a downward-pointing visible face which can be seen from a room situated below the profiled section, and wherein the pipe register is disposed in the receptacle.
