Carrier for containers

A blank for forming a carrier for holding a plurality of containers, the blank comprising:

• a plurality of panels comprising a first panel foldably connected to a second panel and a third panel foldably connected to the second panel, the first panel configured for being positioned in at least partial face-to face contact with the second panel when the carrier is formed from the blank, the third panel overlapping the first panel such that the first panel is positioned between the second panel and the third panel when the carrier is formed from the blank, each of the first panel and the second panel and the third panel comprising a first end portion, a second end portion, and a central portion extending from the first end portion to the second end portion;
• container retention features comprising at least one container retention opening in each of the first panel and the second panel and the third panel, the at least one container opening in the first panel for being aligned with the at least one container retention opening in the second panel and the at least one container opening in the third panel configured for at least partially receiving a respective container of the plurality of containers when the carrier is formed from the blank;
• and
• a handle portion positioned between the first end portion and the second end portion of each of the first panel and the second panel and the third panel for forming a handle for being grasped by a user when the carrier is formed from the blank.
