Method and apparatus for manufacturing display device

A method of manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:

• preparing a cover window including a bent part, a guide film including a first surface and a second surface, and a display panel on the first surface of the guide film;
• disposing the guide film on a seating pad of a first jig such that the second surface of the guide film faces in a downward direction;
• and
• pre-forming the display panel such that the display panel has a predetermined shape corresponding to a shape of the cover window,
• wherein the pre-forming includes:
• a first pushing in which a push member pushes the first surface of the guide film in the downward direction, and
• a second pushing in which the push member pushes the first surface of the guide film in a horizontal direction,
• wherein in the pre-forming, the push member does not physically contact the display panel, and
• wherein the seating pad includes an elastic material.

A method of manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:

• preparing a cover window including a bent part, a guide film including a first surface and a second surface, and a display panel on the first surface of the guide film;
• disposing the guide film on a seating pad of a first jig such that the second surface of the guide film faces in a downward direction;
• and
• pre-forming the display panel such that the display panel has a predetermined shape corresponding to a shape of the cover window,
• wherein the pre-forming includes:
• a first pushing in which a push member pushes the first surface of the guide film in the downward direction, and
• a second pushing in which the push member pushes the first surface of the guide film in a horizontal direction,
• wherein in the pre-forming, the push member does not physically contact the display panel, and
• wherein the disposing the guide film includes holding opposite ends of the guide film using a clamp and arranging the guide film between the first jig and the cover window.
