Methods and systems for producing pressware

A system for scoring a web of a roll of paper material, the system comprising:

• a scoring station frame;
• a steel plate operatively associated with the scoring station frame and having one or more slot defining a shape representing an outline of a pressware product;
• a steel scoring punch including one or more protruding blade corresponding to the one or more slot of the plate;
• a platen supporting the steel scoring punch and having a first surface facing the steel scoring punch and a second surface opposite to the first surface;
• one or more toggle block coupled to the platen via one or more biasing element configured to bias the one or more toggle block toward the second surface of the platen;
• one or more wedge set positioned between the one or more toggle block and the second surface of the platen and operable to shift along the second surface of the platen, the one or more wedge set having a varied thickness so that shifting the one or more wedge set adjusts a distance between the one or more toggle block and the second surface of the platen;
• a height adjust actuator configured to shift the one or more wedge set along the second surface of the platen;
• a toggle assembly supported by the scoring station frame and coupled to the one or more toggle block, the toggle assembly operable to extend toward the steel plate;
• and
• a scoring station actuator configured to actuate the toggle assembly so that the toggle assembly shifts toward the steel plate, thereby shifting the scoring punch toward the plate.
