Method and apparatus for performing local re-routing by IAB node in wireless communication system

A first node in a wireless communication system, the node comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first node to perform operations comprising:
• receiving information related to at least two service radio bearers (SRBs) for transmitting a control message from the first node to a third node;
• receiving the control message from a User Equipment (UE) operated by the first node or from a second node connected with the first node;
• and
• transmitting the control message through one SRB of the at least two SRBs to the third node,
• wherein the one SRB through which the control message is transmitted is determined among the at least two SRBs based on whether the control message is received from the UE or the second node,
• wherein a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the second node has a higher priority than a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the UE.

An apparatus for a first node, the apparatus comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first node to perform operations comprising:
• receiving information related to at least two service radio bearers (SRBs) for transmitting a control message from the first node to a third node;
• receiving the control message from a User Equipment (UE) operated by the first node or from a second node connected with the first node;
• and
• transmitting the control message through one SRB of the at least two SRBs to the third node,
• wherein the one SRB through which the control message is transmitted is determined among the at least two SRBs based on whether the control message is received from the UE or the second node,
• wherein a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the second node has a higher priority than a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the UE.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a first node to perform operations comprising:

• receiving information related to at least two service radio bearers (SRBs) for transmitting a control message from the first node to a third node;
• receiving the control message from a User Equipment (UE) operated by the first node or from a second node connected with the first node;
• and
• transmitting the control message through one SRB of the at least two SRBs to the third node,
• wherein the one SRB through which the control message is transmitted is determined among the at least two SRBs based on whether the control message is received from the UE or the second node,
• wherein a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the second node has a higher priority than a logical channel associated with a SRB related to the control message received from the UE.
