Content publishing systems and methods

A method for publishing digital content by a landscape service system comprising:

• receiving, from a beacon device, an indication of a first location;
• receiving, from a browser device, an indication of a second location;
• determining, based on the indication of the first location and the indication of the second location, that the first location is located within a threshold distance of the second location;
• identifying a first policy associated with the beacon device and a second policy associated with the browser device, the first policy comprising one or more first requirements and the second policy comprising one or more second requirements;
• determining that the one or more first requirements of the first policy and the one or more second requirements of the second policy have been satisfied, wherein determining that the one or more first requirements of the first policy and the one or more second requirements of the second policy have been satisfied comprises determining that the browser device is associated with a first digital certificate;
• generating, based on determining that the one or more first requirements of the first policy and the one or more second requirements of the second policy have been satisfied, information configured to be displayed by the browser device, the information comprising content information associated with the beacon device configured to be overlaid on a representation of a local geographic area at the first location on the browser device;
• and
• transmitting, to the browser device, the information configured to be displayed by the browser device.
