Linear motor magnet assembly and loudspeaker unit

A linear motor magnet assembly for use in a loudspeaker unit, the linear motor magnet assembly comprising:

• a voice coil configured for moving axially along a linear excursion axis, the voice coil configured to generate a coil magnetic field;
• first and second magnetic elements aligned along the linear excursion axis, the first and second magnetic elements having respective first and second magnetic fields, wherein the first and second magnetic elements are positioned such that the coil magnetic field generated by the voice coil interacts with the first and second magnetic fields when the voice coil is at a first position;
• and
• a third magnetic element fixedly connected to the voice coil and having a third magnetic field, wherein the third magnetic element is configured to at least partially overlap the first and second magnetic elements when the voice coil moves axially along the linear excursion axis around the first and second magnetic elements,
• wherein movement of the voice coil is amplified based on interaction of the first and second magnetic fields with the third magnetic field.
