Systems and methods for tuning based on furniture configuration

An audio-enhanced furniture system comprising:

• a reconfigurable furniture assembly assembled into a furniture configuration by a user comprising;
• one or more bases providing a seating surface;
• one or more upright members having a height that is greater than that of the one or more bases, wherein at least one of the one or more upright members further includes a cavity, wherein an electrical hub is mounted within the cavity;
• a speaker system comprising one or more speakers in the one or more bases, the one or more upright members or both, wherein the electrical hub provides power to the speaker system;
• and
• a controller for at least one of boosting or attenuating at least one of the one or more speakers of the speaker system based on a configuration footprint shape of the reconfigurable furniture assembly, wherein the electrical hub provides power to the controller.
