Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• a toner cartridge;
• an apparatus main body from which the toner cartridge is detachable;
• and an air supply unit,
• wherein the toner cartridge includes:
• a first chamber storing toner;
• a discharging port through which the toner in the first chamber is discharged to an outside of the toner cartridge;
• a second chamber communicated with the discharging port and provided closer to the discharging port than the first chamber is;
• and
• a conveying member conveying the toner in the first chamber toward the second chamber by a rotation of the conveying member,
• wherein the apparatus main body includes:
• a toner storing unit provided with a receiving port for receiving toner discharged from the discharging port and storing toner;
• and
• a control unit,
• wherein the air supply unit supplies air such that the toner in the second chamber is conveyed from the discharging port toward the receiving port, and
• wherein the control unit is configured to execute:
• a first operation in which the conveying member conveys toner from the first chamber toward the second chamber, and the air supply unit supplies air from the discharging port toward the receiving port through the second chamber, and
• a second operation in which the conveying member does not convey toner from the first chamber toward the second chamber, and the air supply unit supplies air from the discharging port toward the receiving port through the second chamber.
